This scholarship will support Weld County high school students who have earned a minimum high school GPA of 2.5, demonstrate need of financial assistance for college, university, or technical school, and who embody Cesar’s legacy by demonstrating a positive attitude, determination, and a drive towards accomplishment
The scholarships may be used for any accredited two or four year college, university, or technical school. Scholarship money may be used for tuition, books, lab fees, or other costs directly related to the degree program.
The scholarship will be made directly to the school on the student’s behalf in two payments at the start of the student’s first and second freshman semester/quarters. In order to receive the second half of the scholarship, the recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA during the first semester/quarter of the educational program. Recipients must submit grades along with a personal written assessment of accomplishments to Born 2 Ride at the end of the first semester/quarter.
